Talk to You Again Soon - from Mankato, Minnesota!
If you had told me that eight months could pass this quickly, I never would've believed you - but, in the blink of an eye, almost a year has passed since I graduated college back in December. Now, though, I'm starting a brand new adventure: grad school at Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Even crazier? That adventure really starts in T-minus four days from when this post will go live! My (very helpful and generous) parents are helping me cart all of my things to Minnesota and get settled into my new apartment. Then, I have teacher training for two weeks...a week off...and the real adventure - teaching Intro to Composition and taking two graduate-level creative writing classes - begins.
So, to say I'll be busy in the near future is an understatement. What does that mean for Casey the College Celiac? Well, this coming week - from July 24 to July 30 - it'll be quiet on the blog. After that, though, I'll be back! I'm hoping to keep posting twice a week, as usual. Just know that it may take me a little time to get into the groove of teaching, learning, blogging, exploring a new city and everything else this new life stage will involve.
